The Challenge: GRETA was a popular west coast bar, arcade & restaurant chain, making its debut in Toronto. The problem? No one knew about it here. They wanted to launch with a bang, cementing their new-kid-on-the-block status amid King West mainstays.
The Idea: Personify GRETA in a larger-than-life, Carmen San Diego style. Play on elements of 90s nostalgia, video game culture, and the IYKYK style of after parties and secret shows to gain momentum and build intrigue. The CTA was simple—find GRETA, get on the list.
The Outcome: A social campaign that felt like an out of home, and a sold out launch party.
